Embark on a Spiritual and Cultural Odyssey to India and Nepal
Get ready for a transformative journey to the mystical lands of India ans Nepal from October 20- Nov 3 2025 with Seth Monk!
This trip promises to be an enriching experience filled with adventure, spiritual awakening, and a deep immersion into the vibrant cultures and landscapes of the Himalayas.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 0: Arrive in Kathmandu, we pick you up and bring you to the hotel to meet your fellow travelers and gear up for a beautiful, crazy, and magical adventure!
Day 1: Begin your journey with a tour of Kathmandu, visiting the Bodhinath Stupa and Monkey Temple
Day 2: We’ll embark on a journey to Kopan Monastery and the relic room, and visit local cultural sites and shopping
Day 3: A short international flight from Kathmandu to New Delhi, India
Day 4: The group will embark on a Rickshaw ride around the old city and visit the spice market. After a delicious lunch we will continue our tour to the giant Baha’i Lotus Temple.
Day 5: We’ll fly to the Tibetan mountain town of Dharamsala where you’ll settle in and get your first view of the Himalayas
Day 6: After breakfast we will visit the Dalai Lama’s monastery and pray together with the monks and community. Afterwards we will visit some local Tibetan shops and enjoy some traditional foods.
Day 7: After breakfast we will hike across town to visit the Bhagsunath waterfall, an ancient holy spot, and then explore this part of town known for it’s little shops and backpackers.
Day 8: The group will have one of it’s ‘free days’ to travel around the town and choose your own adventure. This day can be for shopping, praying, massages, sightseeing, you decide!
Day 9: We fly to Gaya and take a short ride to Bodhgaya, the place of Buddha’s enlightment.
Day 10: We enter the Mahabodhi Temple complex and have our first experience with the Bodhi Tree. This ancient pilgrimage spot is always bustling with Buddhist devotees from around the world.
Day 11: The group will take a day trip to visit Vulture’s Peak, the sacred Buddhist site where the Buddha gave the Heart Sutra.
Day 12: We can decide on visiting the ancient and mysterious Barbar Caves or spend the day visiting the monasteries around Bodhgaya
Day 13: The last day of the trip, this is another free day. Today you will drop in, meditate, listen for guidance, connect in prayer, and let the spirit of the Buddha show you the way.
Day 14: Fly from Gaya to Delhi for our final goodbye.

The price for this journey is $4444 which includes: airport pick up, nightly 3-4 star hotel accommodations, all meals, four flights, taxis, rickshaws, guides, donations, and itinerary expenses.
The price does not cover your flights to and from India. Those can be booked individually using the arrival and departure dates as your reference points.
A $500 deposit is necessary to reserve your spot by August 1.
